I’m first and foremost a musician, and pretty much every musician who builds a recording studio is enamored of the romance of the music recording process. I’m no exception, so I’ve invested a great deal of time, resources and passion toward the ability to produce high quality music recordings.
FILM & COMMERCIAL SCORING
Nothing is more effective at drawing out the desired emotional response of a multimedia project than an original score. Whether for a feature film, a corporate video or a TV spot, music that is customized to your visuals puts a professional polish on the finished product that can be the difference between good and great. We have the skills and tools to do just that for you.
Music Recording & Mixing
We use a variety of recording spaces, both on and off-site, dependent upon your project needs. Music Mastering
While Oregon Sound Recording is not a dedicated mastering suite, our control room is very well designed acoustically and our monitors are true, and many projects have been mastered here. We generally do mastering in software, where we have a wide variety of appropriate plugins.

Audio Post Production
OSR has always specialized in post production work. With a strong emphasis on sound-for-picture, we’ve created and mixed many soundtracks for movies and videos, websites, and literally thousands of commercials.
Commercials

Voiceover Recording
Doing voiceovers ain’t rocket science, but doing it poorly can be the difference between a project being perceived as professional or not. Oregon Sound Recording has recorded hundreds of voice artists during thousands upon thousands of hours of sessions for everything from TV and radio commercials to industrial training videos and audio books. And we’ve learned a thing or two about this most critical process.
ADR Recording
Oregon Sound Recording is set up for proper ADR recording. A smooth ADR session requires organization before the session, the proper video files and scripts, and time to prepare the session with the proper cues and countdowns to avoid keeping the actors waiting.
Transfers, Enhancements & Forensics
Oregon Sound Recording can take your old records, cassettes, micro-cassettes or reel-to-reel tapes, convert them to digital, reduce the noise, enhance the sound and give them back to you on CD or as digital files (we also have working DAT machines if you happen to have audio recordings in that format).
Duplication
If you are in need of a large number of CD or DVD copies for distribution, we recommend working with a professional duplication house. Oregon Sound Recording can provide smaller runs at a competitive price, including full color on-disc printing, your choice of cases or sleeves, and inserts with limited printing options.
